BILLING & PAYMENT OPTIONS OFFERED WITH CONVENIENCE IN MIND
Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) offers many convenient ways to receive and pay your water bill. Access your bill online, or receive a paper bill in the mail. Then pay online, by phone, in person, by mail or automatically – whatever suits you best. Plus, payments online and by phone that are FREE of any convenience charges when you use your bank account.

e-Bill Paperless Billing - Save a Tree!
Interested in more convenience and receiving less mail? We are now offering e-Bill paperless billing. Instead of receiving a printed bill in the mail each month, we'll help save a tree by e-mailing you a notification when your bill is ready for online viewing. To access this feature, please login to your account. Select the e-Bill Notification and click the option to discontinue receiving a paper copy of your bill. Don't have an account? RapidPay (Electronic Funds Transfer)
Save time and money – automatically – with RapidPay.
You never have to worry about paying your bill on time with this convenient service. With RapidPay Electronic Funds Transfer, we mail your water bill as usual and your payment amount will be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account on the day the bill is due. And, because TMWA's handling costs are less, we credit your water bill 21 cents. Click here to sign up or call (775) 834-8080, option 2, for an application.
Pay Online
For FREE using your bank account.
Now you can pay your bill online for free each month using your checking or savings account. Click here to set up your account. Once you have set up your account, click on "Payment Options" and then select the option to pay online by using checking or savings.
You can also chose to charge your payment to your Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or ATM card. A $4.95 convenience fee is charged by the vendor for this service. Click here to set up your account. Once you have set up your account, click on "Payment Options" and then select the option to pay online by using a credit card.
Please note: commercial customers may only use this option in $500 increments.
Pay by Phone
In our ongoing effort to better serve you, Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) has an automated system available via telephone. This system allows you to access the following information about your TMWA account 24-hours a day:
For FREE using your bank account.
Just call, toll-free, (866) 283-9756 to pay using your checking or savings account.
You can also call, toll-free, (866) 653-1739 and charge your water bill to your Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or ATM card. A $4.95 convenience fee is charged by the vendor for this service.
Please note: commercial customers may only use this option in $500 increments.

- Call TMWA at 834-8080
- Press "2" for "questions about your water bill"
- Select your language preference
- Press 3 to access the automated system
Please have your account number and property zip code ready before calling. This system is designed make your account information available to you 24-hours a day.
Pay by Mail
Simply mail your payment, using the return envelope provided, to TMWA, P.O. Box 659565, San Antonio, TX 78265.
Pay at TMWA's Office
Located at 1355 Capital Blvd., at the corner of Capital and Corporate Boulevards, our lobby is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you simply wish to drop off your payment, you may take advantage of our convenient payment drop box, located outside along Corporate Blvd.
Store Payment Locations
TMWA accepts payment at many grocery and convenience store locations throughout the community. We have contracted with Western Union to offer this service. Please note that customers must have their bill with them in order to in order to make a payment, and that there is a 75 cent Western Union charge for this service.
